TRACK 5 - LET'S GO TO ISRAEL

As a matter of fact I have been to Israel, I took the birthright trip with my brother Zach in January 2008 when we were both students at Rutgers University. Six years later when I got a job teaching at Solomon Schechter, one of the first people I met was none other than the woman who guided the trip. She is now a parent of two boys who are students in my classes! I was so happy to reconnect with her about the trip and share new experiences including PJ Library, Songleader Boot Camp, and the making of this CD.

Everything I did on the trip went into this song In Israel, there were so many beautiful places, lots of pictures to take, and the food was very good there too. Can't wait to go back there someday!

If you would like to go somewhere new

I know a land so nice where they speak Hebrew

We ride a camel, head to Eilat

Checking out the desert, it’s nice and hot
